Now recruiting for internships:
We are now recruiting for interns who would like to begin a one year placement starting in the summer of 2012. During the year, the intern will experience a wide variety of opportunities and areas of the music industry ranging from distribution, management, sales, publishing, promotions, marketing and label. There are also opportunities for international travel.
The following are essential:
- Ability to use PC and MAC computer systems.
- Love of music.
- Good ear.
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
- Some business acumen.
- Aged 18 or over.
The following are also desirable:
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop.
- Basic web skills.
- Good people skills. You don’t need to be experienced in networking etc as training and opportunities are given, but you do need to be comfortable with talking to strangers.
- Can speak another language.
We also offer opportunities for short term placements ranging from one week to 12. During a short placement we try to give you opportunities to experience all areas quickly, but there are less opportunities to manage and run projects depending on the time you are with us.
All interns undergo a staff induction programme and we also discuss your aims and objectives and tailor the experience to help you achieve your ambitions.
